1. Who I Am.

My name is John, I’m 29 years old. I relocated to London from Wales when I was 21 to study music at the London centre of contemporary music, where I met my band and many more great people from all different backgrounds. After finishing my degree in 2010 I stayed in London as it really feels like home to me.

2. A Little About Me.

In 2011 the band went on a mini tour through Italy and Austria, then in 2012 we were offered a place on a European tour with Motorhead and Anthrax for a month, which we obviously said yes to. It was awesome, to know what it feels like to be on the other side of the barrier. After touring around for a bit I got a security guard position, it was not my ideal job but it kept me in the city I loved with my friends, and then I bumped in to coding, and I loved it straight away. Coding gives me the same satisfaction as music because the only thing that holds you back is how much you are willing to learn.

3. Coding So Far.

I started doing a course on HTML and CSS on udemy.com an it all started from there. I've bought a full web development course, 4 PHP courses, and even a hacking course. I've enjoy it so much that I gave up my job as a security guard so I could pursue this and invest my time learning how to become a better coder. Now I can look forward to working towards a job that I actually like and want to show up to.

4. Future Goals.

LEARN CREATE LEARN CREATE LEARN CREATE is my main focus at the moment. There are some links in the project section of this page to show some of the things that I have made. To really take the next step to becoming great at development, I need someone or a group of people around me who can guide me in the right direction, to truly learn what is expected from a professional web developer.
